My journey with the IIS Council over the past three years has been one of growth, learning and memories I’ll always cherish. One thing this journey has taught me is that leadership is an amanah, not just a title serve with sincerity, stay grounded in your deen and let your actions speak for you. May Allah put barakah in every effort and accept it from us.
About me
I’m a Grade 12 student at IIS, currently serving as the Council Secretary. Having previously served as the Happiness Club Captain and Community Outreach Vice Captain my journey in the council has taught me valuable lessons in leadership, teamwork and responsibility. Beyond school, I aspire to pursue a career in the medical field and make a meaningful difference in people's lives..
What I do
Alongside the Head Boy I help oversee and manage the entire council ensuring that activities, responsibilities, and events run smoothly. When the Head Boy is occupied with other school related responsibilities, I take the lead in managing the council and handling its ongoing activities. My role also involves coordinating meetings, preparing minutes, maintaining communication among council members, and assisting with school events and initiatives. Above all I strive to ensure that the council works together effectively and fulfils its responsibilities with dedication.I see myself as a voice for both the students and the council, ensuring that their concerns, ideas, and perspectives are heard.
